Through the government’s ‘Make In India’ campaign, India has also seen an uptick in tax benefits with reform in foreign direct investment regulations, along with establishment of high-quality factories by multinational players. The country’s infrastructure has also seen important improvements the past years, making India an increasingly attractive supply-chain alternative to China.
In today's cost competitive and increasingly stringent regulatory environment, In India many smaller companies are facing the difficulties in establishing in house laboratory for product conformity testing, inspection as per applicable standards.
